Why isn't my old username or password working?

Although this new Film Shed website looks similar to the old site, the have been massive changes under the hood. Unfortunately, the new site is just too different and old user accounts could not be ported across. You will need to sign up again to the new site.

I've forgotten my password. What should I do?

Use the password recovery tool and a new temporary password will be sent to the e-mail address you supplied. You should use this temporary password to log in to Film Shed and immediately change your password to something secure that you can remember. If you no longer have access to the e-mail address you supplied please contact a moderator.

Why isn't my project on the frontpage?

The "Recent & Decent" section on the frontpage is populated automatically from new and popular projects, based on various criteria. The criteria may be modified over time but no human decides what appears here.

I have a problem with the website/I've found a bug. Who should I tell?

Please post in the Site Support & Suggestions Forum. You may be having the same problems as other people in the community and, this way, they will hopefully get solved more quickly.

Why can't I send a private message to another person?

The Private Message (PM) functionality has been removed and replaced with a contact form on your profile page. This feature allows you to send e-mails to other people. You can decide whether or not you want your contact form to be displayed by editing your profile.

A project credit on my profile is incorrect. Who should I contact?

The cast and crew credits listed on your profile page are automatically generated when a project administrator attaches your name to a project cast or crew role. In the first instance, you should contact the project administrator and ask them to correct the details. The list of administrators can be found on the project page. If you receive no response from the project administrator please contact a moderator.
