Written as a low budget entrance into the feature film arena, The White Room combines true science fiction (aka this is what happens when you meddle with forces you don't understand) with philosophical arguments and, for entertainment value, horror. I like to think it's the bastard child of a love orgy between 1950 B movies, 1970s paranoia and 1980s Manga who'd been brought up watching Chronenberg's The Fly on repeat.
