1. Real Names
Film Shed is a fairly informal place, but one of the requirements is the use of Real First & Last Names. This is to ensure friendliness and accountability and you'll also find that the most truthful, accurate posts are from members who are happy to tell us their real identity. If you're not comfortable with us knowing who you really are, please don't register. You'll still be able to access virtually every area of the site - you just won't be able to post.
2. Multiple Accounts
Please don't create more than one Film Shed account. If you forget your password, simply use the Request New Password tab at the top of this page. If you have any trouble with this, please contact a site administrator
3. Privacy Policy
Your personal information will never be sold, given away or otherwise distributed. Other Film Shed members may contact you using the contact tab on your profile page. If you don't wish to receive e-mails from other members, you can disable the contact tab in your profile settings.
4. Code of Conduct
People get passionate about films, there's no getting away from that. There have been, and will be in the future, heated debates on the forums, and constructive criticism is always encouraged. However personal attacks on other members of the site will not be tolerated. If you lack the intelligence to understand this, your account will be immediately terminated and your IP address will be blocked. Spam, trolling-posts and cross-posts will be deleted on sight.
